Because was born last year in Santiago de Chile, when four friends from around the world come together to explore a new a audiovisual experience, based on digital and electronic platforms, combining musical sounds, soundscapes , spatialization and visuals in real time.
In September 2011, ala1recs-arsomnis asked me to record the piece Vexations of the notorious French composer Erik Satie.
Vexations is a theme and variations of approximately two minutes that should be repeated 840 times, giving a total of 28 hours for which 32 pianists were taking turns.
